Overview

In this role you will lead large-scale Alpha/Beta validation programs for devices and software features, coordinating diverse testers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases. You’ll blend technical QA with program management to guide testing phases, reproduce and triage bugs, and translate tester feedback for engineering and leadership. You’ll leverage AI-powered workflows to surface insights, manage risks, and keep projects on track. This position offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment shaping Roku’s product readiness and customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead concurrent Alpha/Beta technical programmes with strong organization
  • Define entry/exit criteria, manage risks, and track progress from start to finish
  • Recruit testers across demographics and experience levels
  • Guide testers through testing phases and maintain engagement
  • Build and use AI tools to organize feedback and surface insights
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management on testing workflows and first-level bug triage
  • Conduct internal acceptance testing as final quality gate
  • Coordinate device procurement and distribution to testers
  • Analyze test data, generate reports, and use automation for insights
  • Facilitate cross-company communication to surface progress and risks
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners on related activities
  • Lead customer validation with external testers before launch
  • Build relationships to keep the team moving forward
  • Produce project metrics and feed insights back to product development and design
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of Programme Management experience
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance or engineering experience
  • Direct experience running Alpha/Beta or pre-release programmes with external testers
  • Experience with test case creation and software testing methodologies
  • Understanding of SDLC from a programme management perspective
  • Experience delivering consumer electronics or streaming media products
  • Demonstrated ability to build AI tools, templates, automations or workflows
  • Designs for quality by default and awareness of AI failure modes in data
  • AI-first approach to planning, status, and risk tracking
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with streaming devices and home connectivity tech
  • Ability to lift/move TVs up to 50 inches; basic hardware setup skills
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and data-centric tools; Centercode a plus
