Amazon Tier 1 Infrastructure Support Engineer

Support Amazon office infrastructure as a Tier 1 engineer, using incident triage and troubleshooting across Networking, AV, and Print services.

Working in the Operations Management Center, you will provide support across Amazon’s corporate office buildings. You will monitor dashboards, resolve incidents, and develop expertise in a focus area. The position includes shift-based work, rotating on-call duties, documentation improvements, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and triage infrastructure incidents within target times
• Resolve Networking, Audio-Visual, and Print service issues
• Correlate incidents, assess severity, and prioritise work against SLAs
• Author runbooks, procedures, and knowledge-base articles
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with partner teams

Requirements:

• One-plus years supporting Windows Server technologies
• One-plus years troubleshooting high-availability, multi-user environments
• One-plus years delivering IT client, server, and network services
• Networking experience with DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI, and TCP/IP
• High school diploma or equivalent
