Analytical Consultant

As Analytical Consultant you will partner with data scientists and solutions consultants to deliver descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics across the consumer lending lifecycle. You translate insights into concise client-ready presentations and build data-driven solutions using R, Python, and Spark. You’ll contribute to a high-performance culture aligned with the TransUnion brand. This role offers meaningful work shaping risk and decisioning capabilities for diverse industries.

• Collaborate on analytic client engagements with data scientists and solutions consultants to deliver analytics across the lending lifecycle
• Present analytic insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders in clear, concise formats
• Design and implement data extraction, segmentation, and statistical analyses on large datasets using R, Python, and Spark
• Foster a high-performance culture and promote excellence aligned with the TransUnion brand

• Bachelor in mathematics, statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, or operations research
• Professional analytic experience in financial services, insurance, or telecommunications
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities
• Advanced programming skills with R or Python; proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-level communication in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
