Overview
In this Analytics Engineer role, you will help build and scale a modern self-serve analytics platform. You will own data models, pipelines, and dashboards that empower teams with trustworthy insights. You’ll work across analysts, product and engineering to translate business needs into robust data solutions, supporting platform initiatives and continuous improvement. This is a fast-moving, collaborative role where your work directly drives data-driven decisions and business impact.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain scalable DBT models and transformation pipelines
- Build and support BI reporting and dashboards
- Partner with analysts, product teams, and engineers to translate requirements into data solutions
- Design and optimise analytics-ready data models focusing on usability, performance, and maintainability
- Implement data quality checks, testing, and documentation
- Support automation, monitoring, and operational excellence across the analytics stack
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge across the team
- Contribute to analytics engineering standards, documentation and best practices
- Support platform initiatives including migrations, governance improvements, and technical debt reduction
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with DBT or similar transformation frameworks
- Experience building analytics-ready data models and reporting solutions
- Understanding of data modelling principles, testing, and query optimisation
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders
