Overview

As an Analytics Engineer at Dojo, you own end-to-end analytical workstreams and deliver reusable data products that drive commercial performance. You’ll build scalable data pipelines and visuals in BigQuery with dbt, Airflow, and BI tools, turning stakeholder needs into measurable insights. You contribute to a healthy data platform by enforcing standards and reducing technical debt, while responsibly leveraging AI to accelerate modelling and documentation. This role sits at the heart of our data team supporting Partnerships and Sales.

Responsibilities
  • Own analytics work streams end-to-end, translating stakeholder needs into scoped data products
  • Build performant, cost-conscious data pipelines in BigQuery using dbt and design insightful visualisations
  • Develop scalable orchestration with Airflow, dbt, Airbyte, and Fivetran
  • Automate workflows with Python, validate data quality, and streamline analytics operations
  • Contribute to shared standards and reusable metrics, paying down technical debt
  • Leverage AI tools to speed modelling, testing, and documentation while maintaining ownership
Key requirements
  • Analytical engineering, data engineering, or related data-focused role background
  • Strong SQL skills and experience building models with dbt
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing (preferably BigQuery) and BI platforms (Looker)
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow) and ingestion tools (Airbyte, Fivetran)
  • Practical Python skills for automation and testing
  • Sound judgment on data quality, maintainability, and independent technical decision-making
