Anaplan Development Lead

As Anaplan Development Lead, you steer the long‑term strategy and governance of Ford Credit Europe’s Anaplan ecosystem. You will lead model development, drive end‑to‑end delivery of complex planning initiatives, and partner with Finance, FP&A and Shared Services to deliver standards and automation. You’ll mentor a diverse regional team, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable senior stakeholders with actionable insights. • Define and own the long‑term Anaplan strategy and architecture for FCE
• Lead governance, data quality, model standards and best practices across European Anaplan apps
• Drive automation, simplification, and continuous improvement of processes
• Design, build and enhance Anaplan models for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
• Develop automated driver‑based variance analysis for management reviews
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex Anaplan initiatives from requirements to deployment and training
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Business teams and Shared Services to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions
• Ensure disciplined ALM, data reconciliation, user access management in a regulated environment
• Mentor and grow Anaplan developers and foster cross‑geography collaboration
• Provide high‑quality support to local markets and management teams

• Anaplan Solution Architect certification
• 5+ years’ experience delivering full Anaplan lifecycles (design, build, deployment, support)
• Strong understanding of multi‑dimensional modelling, data integrations, model optimisation, Anaplan architecture and governance
• Deep experience with financial planning, budgeting and management reporting processes
• Background in banking or similarly regulated environments
• Proven experience with ALM, release planning, regression testing and controlled deployments
• Ability to communicate complex modelling concepts in simple terms
• Strong problem‑solving skills and passion for innovation and continuous improvement
• Comfort with high‑pressure, tight deadlines and minimal supervision
• Effective stakeholder management and communication at senior management level
• Ability to design and maintain a cohesive, secure and scalable Anaplan ecosystem
