Anaplan Model Builder

As an experienced Anaplan Model Builder, you will develop and enhance all Anaplan modules, mappings, front ends, datasets and outputs to support FP&A and replacement of Excel planning models. You will replicate and streamline existing planning models, load data, and build forecasting and planning modules to derive P&L and balance sheet positions across entities. You will tailor front ends and reports for input capture and review, while maintaining mappings, hierarchies and lists. This role connects with stakeholders across the business and aligns with IFRS and UK GAAP considerations.

• Build and maintain Anaplan modules, mappings, front ends, datasets and outputs for forecasting and planning
• Replicate, enhance and streamline existing Excel planning models in Anaplan
• Load data into Anaplan in line with existing models and results
• Develop mappings, calculation modules and outputs to derive P&L and balance sheet positions
• Create front ends for data input from other departments and build review outputs and reports
• Manage and maintain mappings, hierarchies and lists within Anaplan
• Demonstrate Anaplan mechanics to stakeholders across levels
• Understand IFRS and UK GAAP differences in company and Syndicate reporting

• Experienced Anaplan model builder with end-to-end model development experience
• Ability to demonstrate Anaplan mechanics to stakeholders
• Insurance or financial services experience
• Familiarity with IFRS; accounting background preferred
• Experience replacing Excel planning models with Anaplan
