Overview

As an Android Developer in a fintech, you will design, build, test and deploy a high-performance consumer-facing app on a greenfield project. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional engineering team in a collaborative, paired environment and contribute to the product’s architectural and process improvements. The role emphasizes automation, testing, and continuous learning in a relaxed, startup-like setting. You’ll help shape a unique rewards-based platform that enhances consumer spending power.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test and deploy Android applications
  • Support other business units by querying data and building tools
  • Collaborate in a paired, cross-functional environment to solve complex problems
  • Coordinate with the full engineering team to improve architecture and processes
  • Prototype new concepts and technologies
  • Strive for automation across development and testing
  • Contribute to a greenfield mobile application project
  • Participate in design/code reviews and knowledge sharing
Key requirements
  • At least 3 years of software development experience
  • Strong Android SDK / Kotlin skills
  • Experience with consumer-facing, high-performance Android applications
  • Product-focused Android application development experience
  • Solid knowledge of Android APIs, framework components and lifecycles
  • Good understanding of design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming
  • Comfortable in a flexible startup environment with self-organization
