Anesthesiologist
Location: GA
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation; day shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; call hours 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM; call response time within 20 minutes
Position Overview
Provide anesthesiology coverage, including supervision and performing cases as needed. Surgical call is expected every day while working.
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties
Provide call coverage and respond within 20 minutes during call hours
Demonstrate proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and regional nerve blocks
Document cases using Medaxion
Clinical Scope Highlights
Case types may include endoscopy, OB/GYN, pediatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and orthopedics
5 operating rooms
Coverage model includes 1 MD and 3 CRNAs during the day
Required Qualifications
MD/DO
Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
DEA required
BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS through AHA (no exceptions)
Case logs required (proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks)
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing / Onboarding Items
Credentialing timeframe: 45 - 60 days
