Opportunity:

Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

  • Full-time general anesthesia physician position

  • 35-45 cases daily with high-level acuity including cardiovascular, transplant, endoscopy, electrophysiology, catheterization, orthopedic, and neurology cases

  • Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with evening cardiovascular beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call as backup to in-house providers

  • Weekend and occasional weeknight general beeper call coverage required

  • Must be willing to work own cases independently as well as supervise CRNAs depending on daily census

  • Care team model in place with PHY/CRNA medical supervision

  • Support staff includes anesthesia technicians, nursing, and operating room assistants

  • Possible case types include general anesthesia, monitored care, neuraxial, and peripheral nerve blocks

  • EMR systems used: Medaxion, Meditech, and Patient Keeper

  • Florida state medical license required

  • Board certified or board eligible required

  • DEA/CSR requirements apply
