Requirements
- We are seeking a specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Angular, Python, and AWS.
- We require proven experience of a minimum of three years as a software developer or in a similar role within Agile frameworks.
- We require experience with Python, Angular 6, Java, JavaScript, JSON, CI/CD pipeline build and deployment tools such as Bamboo, microservices, APIs, and cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- We require API integration experience, preferably REST, and understanding of event-driven architecture.
- We require experience with AWS deployment methods such as native EC2, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, JVM, and Docker.
- We require experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
- We require experience of SQL database development, SSIS, and cloud deployment such as RDS in AWS.
- We require knowledge of containerized deployments and optimization techniques and tools such as Docker, Fargate, and Kubernetes.
- We require experience of working with wider project teams including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Testers.
- We require experience of producing technical support documentation.
- We require experience of writing technical specifications and user stories.
- We require experience of working within the full development lifecycle, including development, unit testing, and release management.
- We require experience of source code repositories, code branching, and version control systems such as GIT and TFS.
Responsibilities
- We work within a small development team to produce clean, efficient code based on specifications or user stories.
- We integrate software components between in-house and third-party applications.
- We deploy tested code to SIT and UAT environments.
- We support developed applications, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing code when required.
- We recommend and execute improvements.
- We create technical documentation for development solutions, future reference, and reporting.
- We conduct peer reviews of other developers code.
- We collaborate with architects and other developers to develop the solution design.
- We estimate user stories and feed estimates back into the product backlog.
- We write unit tests when implementing user stories, including test deliverables against a user storys acceptance criteria.
- We support the team in working towards continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- We help remove technical impediments raised by the team.
- We liaise with the database administration and infrastructure teams to ensure successful deployment of developed products to the live environment.
