AP/AR Specialist

Robert Half is partnering with an established, multi-entity company to hire an AP/AR Specialist on a direct-hire basis. If you like keeping things organized, catching the details others miss, and being the go-to person for vendors and payments, this one is worth a look. You'll own full-cycle AP and support AR, with exposure to month-end, year-end, and audit work. This is a permanent, full-time position with regular on-site work in Edmonds, WA .

What you'll do

• Full-cycle AP: monitor the AP inbox, enter and code invoices and check requests, route for approval, and prevent duplicate payments
• Process weekly payment runs by check, ACH, and wire
• Set up and maintain vendors, reconcile statements, and maintain AP files
• Prepare 1099s and unclaimed property reporting
• Post daily cash receipts and follow up with customers on past due balances
• Maintain monthly credit card reporting and receipts
• Support month-end, year-end, and the annual audit
• Cross-train and back up other accounting functions

What you'll bring

• 2+ years of AP and/or AR experience, with an interest in doing both long term
• AP-heavy background preferred
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high transaction volume
• Organized, positive, and comfortable asking questions
• Ability to work additional hours during busy periods (month-end, year-end, audit)
• No industry or specific software experience required

Schedule and benefits

• Pay range: $24.04 to $36.06/hr ($50K to $75K annual)
• Flexible daily hours between 6am and 6pm after training
• 1 day/week WFH after training
• Non-exempt, paid overtime
• 15 days PTO, 10 paid holidays plus 4 floating holidays
