Overview

In this role you will design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for UI and API layers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to raise quality across the SDLC. You will drive code-quality practices, support CI/CD and shift-left testing, and rapidly diagnose and resolve defects. The position focuses on modern automation using Playwright and API-first testing within a collaborative agile environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks
  • Create and execute automated tests for web applications and APIs
  • Drive quality engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners and DevOps teams
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to shift-left testing approaches
  • Analyze defects, identify root causes and ensure rapid resolution
Key requirements
  • API Test Automation experience
  • Hands-on Playwright for modern UI test automation
  • Experience developing and maintaining Selenium automation frameworks
  • Strong REST API testing, validation and automation
  • Proven UI Automation Testing experience
  • Experience creating automated test suites from functional and non-functional requirements
  • Knowledge of test design techniques and quality engineering principles
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
