Overview

In this role you will shape and govern enterprise architecture for new deals and major change requests, guiding delivery teams toward scalable, reliable solutions. You’ll drive architectural design, governance, and reusable patterns across portfolios, with emphasis on SOA, microservices, and API-enabled components. You’ll engage with clients on RFPs, influence technology choices, and lead modernization and cloud transformation efforts. This role offers impact across the entire solution lifecycle and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Create enterprise-wide architectural designs for new deals and major changes
  • Guide construction of application components and services to support architecture and development
  • Maintain architectural frameworks and artefacts within the application portfolio
  • Leverage SOA and microservices paradigms to enable agility and faster time to market
  • Provide technical leadership for design, development, and implementation of custom solutions
  • Define target state solutions and investment roadmaps; articulate architectural targets and reusable patterns
  • Assess risks, dependencies, and conformance to Enterprise Architecture; identify opportunities for new revenue streams via APIs
  • Engage in cloud transformation activities (migration and modernization) and support delivery teams
  • Keep up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business outcomes and client requirements
  • Perform design and code reviews with focus on security and quality
  • Transform applications toward mesh app and service architecture including IoT, blockchain, ML and automation
  • Account mining to identify opportunities within clients
  • Provide artifacts for deployment architecture and interface catalogs during cloud projects
  • Create standardized tools and patterns to reduce maintenance costs
Key requirements
  • Enterprise architecture experience
  • Strong design leadership for complex software systems
  • Experience with SOA/microservices and API-driven architectures
  • RFP response support and solution guidance
  • Cloud transformation experience (migration and modernization)
  • Risk assessment and stakeholder management
  • Ability to design reusable patterns and reference architectures
  • Knowledge of security considerations in design and development
