Application Cloud Services Specialist

Support application operations with troubleshooting and cloud administration as an IT Specialist II at WCB-Alberta in Edmonton. This is permanent, full-time work.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Application & Cloud Services, you will deliver projects and services within Business Technology Services. The work covers software installations, tuning, vulnerability management, scripting, packaging, deployment, and technical assurance. You will also support on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install software while following change management practices
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems
• Prepare application and environment documentation to standards
• Support on-premises and cloud application environments
• Participate in on-call support rotation

Requirements:

• Computer-related university or technology institute graduation
• Minimum three years’ IT industry experience
• At least one year of technical support experience
• Windows support competency; Linux skills are an asset
• Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 and ISP designation required or pursued
