Application Developer Co-op Capital Markets

Build application development experience with CIBC in Toronto through hybrid work, using programming, testing, and debugging skills. Support banking technology that improves client experiences.

As an Application Developer Co-op, you will help develop, test, and support cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. You will contribute to flexible, personalized banking solutions while working with senior team members. This temporary opportunity offers four- and eight-month terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, code, and test computer programs for straightforward assignments
• Review, analyze, modify, encode, test, and debug programming systems
• Participate in technical design, development, and application integration
• Gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed
• Support implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems

Requirements:

• Current post-secondary enrollment with full-time studies returning
• Programming, coding, testing, and debugging capabilities
• Ability to investigate complex problems and interpret information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptability to evolving technologies, tools, and trends
