Overview

In this senior, client-facing role, you will shape and govern AMS engagements for UK public sector clients, spanning pre-sales, solution design, transition and delivery governance. You’ll work within the Global Apps & BPS practice to win and assure delivery, with eligibility for UK Security Clearance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable AMS solutions that meet public sector standards and support commercial objectives. This is a chance to influence outcomes across complex engagements and drive value for government or related organisations.

Responsibilities
  • Act as AMS subject matter expert for public sector opportunities
  • Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs and ITTs; conduct bid reviews
  • Design AMS solutions: scope, operating models, tooling, security and compliance
  • Develop cost models and pricing aligned to margins
  • Present solutions to clients and support commercial negotiations
  • Mobilise and transition new AMS engagements with delivery teams
  • Define service governance, SLAs, KPIs and reporting
  • Establish ITIL-aligned service management processes and governance
  • Ensure operating models meet data protection and compliance requirements
  • Chair or support client service governance forums
  • Escalate and manage delivery, commercial or service risks
  • Support resource planning and mobilization for AMS engagements
  • Identify skills gaps and contribute to reusable assets and best practices
Key requirements
  • Significant AMS/Managed Services experience
  • Extensive experience with UK public sector clients
  • Holding or eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC)
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement (RFI/RFP/ITT)
  • Experience in AMS solutioning and estimation
  • Pre-sales support and bid leadership
  • Service transition and mobilisation
  • Delivery governance and assurance
  • Ability to engage from CxO to L2/L3 audiences
  • ITIL-based service management knowledge
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and senior client presentation skills
