As an Application Security Architect, you will lead the design, implementation and ongoing support of secure gateway technologies within a regulated environment. You will partner with Solution Architects, Engineering Leads and SOC teams to deliver secure, reliable services on major programmes. You’ll shape architectural decisions, troubleshoot complex issues and help maintain availability and performance of critical security platforms. This role combines hands-on design with enterprise-scale delivery, offering meaningful impact in secure infrastructure. A global travel element and high‑level security clearance are part of the opportunity.

• Design and implement changes to secure gateway environments
• Create solution and change designs aligned with customer needs
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering Leads and Project Managers to achieve technical outcomes
• Support SOC and 3rd line teams with troubleshooting
• Maintain platform availability, resilience and performance
• Contribute to architectural decisions and roadmaps
• Collaborate across engineering, security and operations teams
• Support design reviews, documentation and governance activities

• Ability to work independently and own technical deliverables
• Willingness to travel regularly across London and the South West
• Strong design and development background in secure or regulated environments
• Eligible for high-level Security Clearance
• Experience with enterprise-scale infrastructure and gateway technologies
