Overview

As an Application Specialist, you will train and support users of Elekta's radiotherapy solutions and collaborate with clinical teams across North Europe. You will guide implementation, go-lives and optimization, building strong relationships to improve patient care. The role combines clinical advisory with technical support, offering exposure to product feedback and ongoing development. You will travel to customer sites and be part of a mission-driven team that aims to make cancer care more effective and accessible.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver training and application support for radiotherapy solutions, remotely and on-site
  • Assist with implementation, go-live and optimisation to improve clinical and operational outcomes
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and promote continuous learning
  • Provide timely, professional support aligned with customer expectations
  • Build strong customer relationships and leverage feedback to boost satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Product Management to meet customer and business needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor, share best practices and contribute to product improvements
  • Support customer engagement activities and develop training materials
Key requirements
  • Degree in Therapeutic Radiography, Healthcare Science (Radiotherapy Physics), Biomedical Engineering, or related field with radiotherapy experience
  • Solid understanding of radiotherapy workflows including 3D and IMRT/VMAT planning
  • Experience delivering clinical or software training in healthcare or medical tech
  • Knowledge of treatment planning systems; Monaco experience advantageous
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English; additional European languages beneficial
  • Strong organisational and digital skills with Microsoft Office
  • Collaborative, customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 70%)
