Overview

As an Application Specialist for InterSystems, you will serve as the expert for the PAS module within TrakCare, guiding hospitals in the UK to implement standard solutions efficiently. You’ll assess customer processes, map them to standard components, and advise on maximizing benefits with minimal custom work. You’ll travel up to 5 days a week to client sites, stay current with product developments, and collaborate across InterSystems teams to ensure successful go-lives and ongoing support.

Responsibilities
  • Review proposals and tender docs to identify functional gaps
  • Analyze customer processes and map to standard ISC products
  • Lead solution presentations and indictions workshops
  • Advise customers on benefits of the InterSystems solution and minimize variations
  • Produce business requirements/maps, solution design, and validation scripts
  • Set up site configurations and create validation scripts
  • Validate configured system and migrated data against design
  • Log issues and coordinate fixes with Product/PM teams
  • Create handover docs for support and conduct training/workshops
  • Provide on-site go-live support and post-go-live follow-up
  • Maintain documentation and share knowledge with colleagues
  • Learn and adopt new TrakCare functionalities
Key requirements
  • 3+ years in healthcare with strong PAS knowledge in UK hospitals (public and private)
  • Deep understanding of PAS rules, workflows and billing within UK hospitals
  • Excellent communication and training delivery skills
  • Experience interacting with clinicians and delivering clear messaging
  • Experience with writing functional documents and business process mapping
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of information systems and software testing
  • Experience with software solution implementation and change management (desirable)
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and conduct training/workshops
