Application Support Engineer – DV – 11864JS

In this contract role, you will provide hands-on application support for critical client systems on-site in Gloucester. You’ll work within a security-cleared environment, leveraging your networking and software-architecture knowledge to troubleshoot incidents and support stable operations. The role supports cross-functional teams to maintain reliable services and improve observability and automation. • Provide application support and incident management for client applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Assist with monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure service reliability
• Support automation and deployment pipelines to improve incident response
• Engage with security and compliance requirements in a DV-cleared environment

• Understanding of networking and software architectures
• Experience with structured text formats JSON, XML, CSV
• Exposure to programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and Go (nice to have)
• API definitions: Swagger / Open API 3 (nice to have)

• AWS or other cloud platforms’ administration (nice to have)
• Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps mindset (nice to have)
