Overview

As Integration Engineer at Isomorphic Labs, you own and secure a suite of multi-user tools, scaling them across cloud environments. You bridge Integration, Operations, and Security to manage the full software lifecycle, from secure cloud config to automated deployments and ongoing updates. You will implement CI/CD pipelines (primarily Kubernetes), IaC templates, and security practices to keep platforms reliable with minimal downtime. You contribute to a culture of collaboration while enabling rapid, secure digital biology workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy, upgrade, patch, and maintain self-hosted multi-user software across cloud environments
  • Plan low-downtime maintenance and database migrations
  • Integrate with customer identity platforms for secure access
  • Configure monitoring, alerting, and runbooks for health management
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery (Kubernetes-focused)
  • Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates and configuration scripts
  • Incorporate security scanning in pipelines to identify vulnerabilities and remediate CVEs
  • Configure SSO, RBAC, and directory integrations (SAML 2.0 / OIDC) for onboarded apps
  • Automate deployment across desktops, headless Linux, and cloud environments
  • Enforce secure baseline configurations, secrets management, and access controls
Key requirements
  • Hands-on Kubernetes & Containerization: deploying and scaling multi-user apps
  • CI/CD & Automation: pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Jenkins
  • Security Scanning & Vulnerability Management: container and dependency scanning
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar
  • Identity & Access Management (SSO): SSO and directory integration via SAML 2.0 / OIDC
  • Scripting Skills: Python, Bash, or Go
