Application Support Lead – Fintech / Trading

Overview

In this role you lead a hands-on application support function for major global trading clients within a market-leading fintech. You guide a small team, drive investigations and escalations, and shape support processes and tooling to improve client outcomes. You will participate in client-facing discussions, report on performance, and advocate for continuous improvement across the service. The opportunity sits at the intersection of trading technology and customer service, shaping how we support EMS and algo execution at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support for major global trading clients
  • Lead a team of 5 junior support analysts
  • Drive metrics reporting, learnings documentation, and process improvement
  • Manage escalation and remediation activities with cross-business collaboration
  • Participate in client-facing calls and summarize issues for the team
  • Monitor workloads, prioritize issues, and track KPIs against targets
Key requirements
  • Experience in a Team Lead or Senior Application Support role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to share learnings within the team
  • Strong customer orientation
  • SQL and ideally basic scripting
  • Broad understanding of finance and trading including equity derivatives and related technologies
