Application Support Specialist

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading and rapidly growing SaaS software platform based in Stoke-on-Trent, as a Software Support Specialist.

This is a field-based role working with an impressive portfolio of clients across the UK, installing the company's software and supporting customers through their onboarding journey.

You'll be the friendly, capable face customers meet on-site the person who ensures their software goes in smoothly, their team knows how to use it, and their business is up and running with confidence. Full training will be provided on the platform, systems and installation processes, so you'll be well set up to represent the business with expertise from day one.

What you’ll be doing:

• Installing the platform’s software at client sites across the UK
• Delivering hands-on user training and post-installation support to help customers get the most out of the system
• Working closely with clients to tailor installations to their specific requirements
• Managing your own installation schedule, documentation and customer feedback
• Acting as a professional ambassador for the business at every customer interaction
• Building trusted working relationships that keep clients coming back

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in software support, application support or a similar customer-facing technical role field-based experience is a plus but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills you'll be face-to-face with clients daily
• Strong problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail
• Proactive, organised and professional in your approach
• A full UK driving licence is essential , along with a willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays where needed
• Comfortable managing your own diary and working independently on the road
