Application Support Technician Burnaby

Support workstation operating systems and network-deployed software as an Application Support Technician in Burnaby’s temporary full-time school district environment. Coordinate application delivery and troubleshoot hardware across a large network.

Burnaby School District seeks an Application Support Technician through June 30, 2027. The position focuses on installing, supporting, and upgrading workstation operating systems and deploying software across the network. You will also assist Network Support Technicians with researching, designing, and testing new systems, while modifying existing systems for workstation management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install workstation operating systems across the network
• Support and upgrade workstation operating systems
• Deploy software across networked workstations
• Assist with hardware troubleshooting
• Research, design, and test new systems

Requirements:

• Two-year recognized IT-related technical program graduation
• Recent relevant certifications and 3½ years related experience
• Knowledge of application delivery and policy structure management
• Ability to manage workstation devices in large networks
• Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License
