• Develop, maintain and support business applications and software solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with stakeholders
• Design, develop, test and implement new functionality and system enhancements
• Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis and issue resolution
• Integrate business applications with Microsoft Office products and associated file formats
• Develop and maintain database access functionality and data-driven solutions
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• Support software releases, upgrades and deployments
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and project teams

• Experience delivering software solutions across the full application development life cycle
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
• Expert knowledge of VB.NET and the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience integrating Microsoft Office applications and files using VB.NET
• Working knowledge of Microsoft DAO API and SQL
• Experience developing and supporting business-critical applications
