Applications Engineer

In this role you own the project control activity globally, driving consistent specifications and processes for project implementation. You will lead and coordinate a team, interfacing with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Product Engineering, Sourcing and sub-contractors. You’ll apply engineering know-how to customer projects and resolve issues within established procedures. You will balance workloads to meet customer requirements and align priorities with the sales team. This is a hands-on leadership role in a global engineering context.

• Serve as technical lead to define scope, plan schedules, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects
• Provide technical leadership and interface with cross-functional stakeholders (Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Product Engineering, Sourcing, sub-contractors)
• Develop conceptual knowledge within the professional discipline and contribute to project engineering efforts
• Coordinate daily team work and balance workload to meet customer requirements
• Define priorities with the sales team
• Resolve issues using established procedures and escalate when needed

• Experience running a team and coordinating projects (1–2 years in a senior role)
• Basic experience in Engineering/Technology & Customer Project Engineering
• Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong ability to interface with multiple stakeholders and lead technical discussions
