Applications Engineer

In this role you will provide technical support and develop refrigeration solutions for customers, bridging technical knowledge with customer needs. You’ll specify equipment, prepare quotations, and support the sales team to drive projects. The position sits within a specialized HVAC/M&E recruitment environment that values practical refrigeration expertise and client communication. • Provide technical and application support to customers
• Select and specify refrigeration equipment and components
• Develop technical solutions based on customer requirements
• Prepare quotations, selections and technical documentation
• Support the sales team with technical enquiries and projects
• Liaise with customers, manufacturers and suppliers

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems
• Experience selecting refrigeration equipment and components
• Understanding of compressors, controls, heat exchangers and associated equipment
• Previous Applications, Design or Technical Support experience
• Good customer-facing and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
