About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team in Guildford. This pivotal role involves providing technical support and developing tailored refrigeration solutions for our diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to assist clients in selecting appropriate equipment, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring seamless project execution. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background in commercial refrigeration systems, with prior experience in applications, design, or technical support roles. Essential qualifications include a thorough understanding of refrigeration equipment, compressors, controls, heat exchangers, and related components. A full UK driving license is required, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to customer service and technical challenges, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical and application support to customers, ensuring their refrigeration needs are accurately assessed and met.
• Select and specify appropriate refrigeration equipment and components based on customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Develop comprehensive technical solutions tailored to individual customer projects, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed quotations, equipment selections, and technical documentation to support sales and project execution.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team, offering technical guidance on enquiries and projects to facilitate successful outcomes.
• Liaise effectively with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers to coordinate project requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay updated with industry developments, product innovations, and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions and technical support.
