ArcGIS Geospatial Data Specialist

Apply ArcGIS Enterprise, data governance, and automation expertise as a Geospatial Specialist with Stantec in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

This full-time individual contributor role supports a team of more than 160 environmental geospatial professionals. You will manage geospatial data, deliver fit-for-purpose maps, assess analytical results, and improve workflows for multidisciplinary projects. The position serves internal and external clients while supporting desktop, online, enterprise, and mobile GIS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage metadata, permissions, sharing, storage, and archiving
• Maintain data for desktop, online, enterprise, and mobile platforms
• Validate analytical results and recommend corrective actions
• Improve workflows, automation, and delivery procedures
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior staff

Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
• Knowledge of Experience Builder, Dashboards, Field Maps, and Survey123
• Ability to assess data and make technical decisions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Minimum 10 years of related professional GIS experience
