ArcGIS Spatial Solutions Technologist

Use ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise to support spatial solutions as a full-time technologist with the Town of Oakville. Create reliable data products and applications.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Spatial Solutions, this permanent role supports development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of spatial systems. Responsibilities include application support, data creation, cartographic production, analytics, and quality assurance. You will also gather user requirements and support project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support application design, development, testing, and documentation
• Prepare cartographic products according to client specifications
• Maintain data quality through established QA/QC procedures
• Deliver scheduled data updates to clients and staff
• Support project meetings, action items, and communications

Requirements:

• Minimum one year working with GIS and analytical products
• Knowledge of GIS principles and application development techniques
• Experience with spatial databases, standards, design, and data models
• Familiarity with Python, ArcPy, Arcade, and scripting tools
• Ability to implement applications with minimal guidance
