Architectural Applications Specialist - EMEA

In this role you support Eastman’s architectural film business across EMEA, translating product and glazing performance into practical guidance for sales teams and stakeholders. You conduct and explain energy, comfort, and sustainability analyses to drive project opportunities and decisions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enable sales, training, and technical validation while travel remains a key aspect of the role. Your work helps customers optimize energy use, safety, and ROI on architectural projects.

• Support EMEA sales teams, distributors, dealers, and installers with technical information to win architectural projects
• Evaluate customer needs and project requirements to identify suitable Eastman film solutions
• Perform or coordinate energy analyses, building-performance evaluations, and ROI assessments for large projects
• Explain technical results, energy savings, solar performance, sustainability and commercial considerations to diverse audiences
• Provide technical support for meetings, site visits, project reviews, and product questions
• Develop and deliver technical training for sales teams and installers
• Prepare project-specific technical information and supporting documentation
• Support pre-installation approvals and contribute to testing, certification, and safety-related activities
• Review marketing materials and certifications for technical accuracy and claims
• Coordinate complex technical matters with Legal, Marketing, Product Management, Quality, and other functions
• Maintain awareness of building regulations, energy standards, and certification systems across EMEA
• Support industry associations, certification bodies, and testing organizations
• Collaborate with regional/global peers to align technical approaches and tools
• Participate in customer visits, internal meetings, training, conferences, and travel as required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, building science, energy engineering, architecture, materials science, or related technical field
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in technical support, technical sales, construction, building performance, or related projects
• Knowledge or strong interest in commercial building performance, glazing and fenestration, architectural films, energy efficiency, sustainability, and solar control
• Familiarity with building-energy or fenestration-analysis tools preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
• Ability to translate technical information into practical, commercially useful recommendations
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, curious, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple activities
• Ability to collaborate across functions, countries, and cultures
• Professional English; Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or German highly desirable
• Willingness to travel ~50% within EMEA and internationally
