Area Integration Engineer - Electrical

In this role you will lead the integration of electrical systems across multiple work packages for a major UK infrastructure project. You will work closely with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Delivery and Commissioning teams to ensure coordinated sequencing, safety and schedule adherence. You’ll address interface challenges and hotspots, driving data-driven decisions to keep the project on track. This is a hands-on position that combines technical electrical expertise with cross-functional collaboration to shape critical infrastructure.

• Review construction schedules, sequences and material availability to judge readiness
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Delivery and Commissioning teams to stay aligned
• Develop and review electrical construction sequences for designated areas
• Identify and help resolve schedule constraints, resource gaps and interface issues
• Assist in resolving delivery hotspots and promote best-for-project outcomes
• Oversee Delivery Work Pack (DWP) and Interface Data Sheet (IDS) processes for coordination
• Utilise tools such as P6, Navisworks, Synchro, Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office to analyse and share project data while prioritising safety, quality and schedule adherence

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (10+ years in electrical project environments)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering complex engineering or construction projects
• Expertise in project planning and integration, including P6 scheduling, Navisworks 3D model interrogation, and advanced Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
