Articling Student Audit Accounting

Build audit and accounting skills at DMCL’s Vancouver office while preparing tax returns and supporting assurance engagements for varied clients.

As an Articling Student, you will work with managers, senior managers, and partners across client engagements. You will gain practical experience across mining, health sciences, manufacturing, and not-for-profit organizations. DMCL provides mentorship, structured training, and opportunities to support your CPA journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate tax returns and working papers
• Complete other accounting assignments for personal and business finances
• Support assurance engagements with collaborative teams
• Communicate with clients and third parties for required information
• Contribute ideas and teamwork to DMCL’s culture

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree focused on accounting
• Required prerequisites completed before starting the CPA program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Solid working knowledge of Excel
• Interest in audit or private enterprise experience
