Artificial Intelligence Engineer

TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Senior AI Engineer

Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for a 6-month contract.

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications using Python.
• Build AI agents and workflows using LangGraph.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using embeddings and vector search.
• Build and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
• Implement LLM monitoring, tracing, and evaluation using Langfuse.
• Develop and deploy AI services on Google Cloud, including Vertex AI and BigQuery.
• Build REST APIs, automated tests, and production-ready AI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable AI applications.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/LLM-powered applications.
• Strong Python, LangGraph/LangChain, RAG, and prompt engineering skills.
• Experience with Langfuse or similar LLM observability tools.
• Understanding of MCP, REST APIs, vector databases, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and responsible AI practices.
