Artificial Intelligence Engineer

I'm looking for a Full-Stack Technical AI Lead to head up engineering for a high-growth AI spin-out backed by an established enterprise business. Operating with startup agility, the team builds, scales, and commercialises bespoke machine learning/ AI products and intelligent automation tools.

In this position, you will shape software architecture, set engineering standards, and mentor a development team. You’ll remain hands-on across the full stack while collaborating directly with leadership and client stakeholders to deliver production-ready platforms.

Key Requirements:

• Drive the design and development of core web applications and services supporting live AI products.
• Lead full stack delivery using, Python, TypeScript and React
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability
• Build scalable data ingestion pipelines
• Establish coding standards, and robust CI/CD practices.
• Mentor engineers
• Work alongside internal stakeholders and enterprise clients

Requirements:

• Proven background as a Tech Lead or Senior
• Strong hands-on engineering capability across the stack
• Demonstrated track record taking complex systems into production and managing cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
• Solid understanding of software design, API development, and data integration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable in client-facing environments.
• Experience with building AI products, NLP, LLMs
• Experience leading and scaling high performing engineering teams
