Overview

In this role you will contribute to a greenfield trading platform and cloud migration for a leading fintech software house in central London. You will design, build, and enhance systems in collaboration with a small, high-performing team, shaping APIs and a financial modelling platform used by major finance teams. The environment is relaxed yet fast-paced, offering growth opportunities and support for Microsoft certifications. You will work closely with leads, solution architects, and product managers to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse, design and build new systems for a greenfield trading platform and financial modelling initiative
  • Enhance existing systems and APIs in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Support cloud migration efforts and banking API development
  • Collaborate with development manager, team leads, and product manager to align on architecture and delivery
  • Contribute to a high-velocity, open, decision-friendly engineering culture
  • Engage in Agile SCRUM and Waterfall processes as appropriate
Key requirements
  • Hands-on coding in C# and ASP.NET
  • Proven delivery of software projects in structured environments
  • Knowledge of IoC, ORM, and MVC/MVVM patterns
  • Proficiency with C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework/.NET Core
  • WPF with MVVM and ASP.NET MVC
  • HTML5/CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Angular
  • Web Services/WCF/NHibernate
  • SQL Server/T-SQL
  • Experience with Agile SCRUM and Waterfall methodologies
  • Team collaboration
