Overview

As an Asset Data and Planning Analyst, you will ensure accuracy and integrity of asset data to support safe, reliable asset delivery and maintenance. You’ll provide guidance on Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS) and deliver training to LT staff. You will manage asset data across its lifecycle in systems like Ellipse and Maximo, and contribute to planning through weekly and multi-year schedules. This role combines data governance with operational planning to drive efficient asset management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver AMIS guidance and training to LT staff
  • Ensure system controls align with industry best practice and TfL standards
  • Lead daily failure meetings and manage failure reporting
  • Schedule asset data to produce weekly to three-year work plans
  • Coordinate weekly planning with Asset Delivery Managers
  • Prepare asset data changes and ensure correct loading into Asset Management Systems
  • Register/decommission asset records and data attributes accurately
  • Review asset data changes for accuracy and completeness
  • Support Asset Manager with maintenance data handover and lifecycle data (Ellipse/Maximo)
  • Oversee data management via ADMF from cradle to grave
Key requirements
  • Experience with Asset Planning Processes and reporting tools (FDM, BOXI, Axiom, Power BI)
  • Experience with Asset Maintenance Systems and Asset Data in engineering environments (Ellipse/Maximo)
  • Experience using Asset Management System asset registers
  • Knowledge of asset data change processes, requirements and standards (TfL)
  • Basic technical knowledge of assets in trams/railway environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage tight timescales
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases
