Overview

In this role you will design, build, and maintain a scalable billing platform within Asset & Wealth Management Engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and dashboards, while supporting data pipelines and analytics. You contribute to architecture discussions, implement data-driven features, and stay current with BI and data analytics practices. Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain the billing platform to support new business functions
  • Propose and implement software solutions; participate in architecture and design reviews
  • Develop data feeds, APIs, and processing pipelines in collaboration with other teams
  • Support global users and adapt applications to new requirements
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data needs and drive insights for decision making
  • Develop scalable dashboards and data visualizations for complex data
  • Troubleshoot data pipelines and ensure system availability
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in BI and data analytics
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Solid object-oriented design and framework skills
  • Experience designing scalable software solutions
  • Proficiency with Spring, REST services, JMS, Hibernate/JPA, JSON
  • Experience with databases such as Sybase or MongoDB
  • Experience with messaging solutions like Kafka
  • Fast learner with the ability to pick up existing applications
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Prior people management experience and leading projects in a global team setup
