Assistant Controller Financial Planning

Analyze margins, costs, and forecasts as an Assistant Controller at Techo-Bloc, partnering with operations across North American plants and distribution centers.

This Assistant Controller works alongside the Controller and operations leaders to explain financial movements and guide decisions. You will analyze inventory, sales, costs, margins, and variances while supporting budgeting and forecasting. The role also develops your path toward a Controller or Analyst position through practical finance work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze inventory, sales, costs, margins, and variances
• Present insights during monthly operations reviews
• Build annual budgets and validate forecast data
• Track assumptions and variances throughout the year
• Collaborate on cross-functional financial performance initiatives

Requirements:

• CPA designation and bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Three-plus years of accounting experience
• Experience with cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement
• Advanced Excel, including pivot tables and Power Query
• Bilingual French and English communication skills
