Assistant Controller Month End Close

Own month-end close and U.S. GAAP accounting as an Assistant Controller in a full-time, in-office role at downtown Robson and Granville.

This Assistant Controller joins a lean Finance team supporting new products, verticals, revenue streams, and fund flows. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and supporting schedules. The role connects accounting, finance operations, systems, data, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and schedules
• Reconcile revenue, redemptions, processors, and related fund flows
• Investigate P&L differences with FP&A and Data
• Support intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidation
• Assist audits, tax compliance, and NetSuite workflow improvements

Requirements:

• Strong accounting fundamentals and practical U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Minimum seven years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Hands-on month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting experience
• Curiosity, detail orientation, ownership, and practical problem-solving
• NetSuite or multi-entity accounting experience is valuable
