We are thrilled to be looking for our next co‑op candidate to support our project controls team with a focus on risk. This role will support our major projects within our civil east division in the GTA. What You'll Do Here
- Provide support to the project team for project control activities with a focus on risk management.
- Work with various stakeholders to gather and disseminate risk‑related data.
- Assist and support Risk Director, Project Managers and Project Controls Analysts with risk analysis, benchmarking and document initiatives.
- Present findings to the project team when required.
- Analyze historical project risk information and manage and maintain risk registers.
- Work with the different functional groups to provide benchmarking information and feedback on risk management accuracy, and support development as required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Currently enrolled in a University/Technical College pursuing Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Understanding of project management, project controls or cost engineering processes.
- Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Proven track record of good performance and attendance.
- Basic presentation skills.
- Bilingual in French is an asset.
