In this role you will lead the design and deployment of AI, ML, and GenAI solutions that create value for clients across Moody’s Corporate and Governments business. You will work with product, engineering, and business teams to translate client needs into data science initiatives, own end-to-end model development, and ensure production-ready, compliant solutions. The role emphasizes responsible AI, governance, and clear communication of insights to senior leaders. You will help advance product capabilities at scale by leveraging cutting-edge AI techniques.
Responsibilities- Lead design, development, and deployment of AI/ML/GenAI solutions to enhance client-facing capabilities
- Own end-to-end model lifecycle: problem framing, data exploration, design, validation, deployment, monitoring
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate needs into data science initiatives
- Drive automation and model-based improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency
- Promote best practices in ML operations, coding, and software engineering excellence
- Advance responsible AI practices, including risk management and model governance
- Communicate technical work clearly to senior leaders and non-technicalstakeholders
- Experience in data science, ML, or AI with hands-on ML/DL model training and evaluation
- Strong Python programming and deployment of ML models into production
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs), prompting, fine-tuning, and RAG
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks/libraries (e.g., AWS Bedrock AgentCore, LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK)
- Ability to own the full model development lifecycle and produce production-ready solutions
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Databricks for data/ML
- Expertise in AI applications to drive transformation and operational efficiency
- Leadership in AI risk management and governance
- Strong ability to explain complex modeling to diverse audiences
- Bachelor in Computer Science (or related quantitative field); advanced degrees preferred
