Associate Accountant Month End Close

Support month-end close and reconciliations as an Associate Accountant with Corby Spirit and Wine Limited and Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd. Hybrid flexibility is available.

As part of the North America Accounting team, you will build accounting expertise through operational support, reporting, and compliance activities. The work includes general ledgers, intercompany processes, inventory, taxes, and Pernod Ricard reporting. This opportunity suits an early-career accountant pursuing professional growth and potentially a Canadian CPA designation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support statutory and management general ledger month-end close activities
• Complete intercompany and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Record billings, purchases, and inventory accounting transactions
• Prepare reconciliations, reporting, and Pernod Ricard packages
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and support tax filings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• One to three years of similar accounting experience
• Interest in pursuing Canadian CPA designation
• Knowledge of accounting processes, controls, and IFRS principles
• Microsoft Office proficiency and strong analytical skills
