Associate Accountant Month End Close

As an Associate Accountant, you will support North America Accounting across accounting operations and reporting. The role includes general ledgers, intercompany activity, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance. It suits an early-career professional with one to three years of accounting experience pursuing Canadian CPA designation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly close for statutory and management general ledgers
• Complete intercompany and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Record intercompany billings, purchases, and inventory transactions
• Prepare Pernod Ricard reporting packages and business reports
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and support tax filings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• One to three years of accounting experience
• Interest in pursuing Canadian CPA designation
• Knowledge of accounting processes, controls, and IFRS principles
• Microsoft Office proficiency and strong analytical skills
