Associate Business Analyst

In this role, you will support the RAMPP organisation by eliciting requirements, analysing processes, and delivering targeted analytics and reporting to Capital Markets desks. You collaborate across business units and tech teams to standardise risk analytics and dashboards, while leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency. You will build end-state reporting using Python and contribute to cross-asset risk solutions that drive user adoption and decision making. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position with impact on risk management tooling and strategic initiatives.

• Elicit and document current and future state processes, user stories, data catalogs and business rules
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues, escalating when needed
• Collaborate on enterprise initiatives and manage deliverables across teams
• Build strong relationships with business partners to influence outcomes
• Leverage AI tools to increase day-to-day efficiency
• Develop end-state reporting for stakeholders using in-house tools and Python
• Standardise cross-asset Risk Management analytics and dashboards with Quants, Trading and Market Risk teams

• Undergraduate degree with proven experience in business analysis
• Experience in capital markets environment
• Knowledge of at least one asset class and its risk/P&L implications
• Strong programming knowledge in Java or Python
• Ability to construct and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
• Excellent analytical skills for data analysis, discovery and reporting
