Associate Cloud Engineer StarlingX Kubernetes

Build StarlingX for Wind River Cloud Platform with Kubernetes and Docker while contributing to cloud-native edge computing software.

Wind River, an Aptiv Company, seeks an Associate Cloud Engineer for development and testing. You will support configuration, fault, and host management capabilities while gaining hands-on experience with embedded systems, OpenStack, and mission-critical software. The work includes automation and continuous product improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and test StarlingX for Wind River Cloud Platform
• Execute and automate software tests across product capabilities
• Improve product features, engineering processes, and development practices
• Contribute ideas for future product iterations
• Collaborate with globally distributed software engineering teams

Requirements:

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in computer science or equivalent
• Programming skills in C and C++, including object-oriented concepts
• Understanding of RTOS fundamentals and embedded systems development
• Experience with testing, debugging, automation tools, and Python
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
