Overview

As an Associate Consultant in Client Analytics within Data and Analytics, you will lead analytical and consultancy projects using CRA data to support client decisions and revenue growth for Equifax UK. You’ll work with external stakeholders, translate complex analyses into actionable insights, and deliver models and credit strategies that meet quality and timing targets. The role combines hands-on modelling, data preparation, and stakeholder presentations in a fast-paced client-facing environment. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape data-driven credit decisions and drive business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead analytical and consultancy projects using CRA data
  • Develop credit strategy, scorecards and models to required standards and timescales
  • Perform end-to-end analytics: sample design, retrospective and performance analyses, population split and reject analysis
  • Analyze multiple data sources using statistical methods (logistic/linear regression, decision trees, CHAID, clustering) and CS to solve business problems
  • Prepare data and insights using SQL and Python to support decision making and client solutions
  • Deliver analytical and commercial solutions to internal and external clients
  • Support Sales by developing proposals and presenting to audiences from junior staff to Board
  • Understand regulatory impacts on consumer credit and client obligations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery
Key requirements
  • Relevant numerical degree with 2:1 or above
  • Strong experience in UK credit risk
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Innovative mindset with ability to uncover opportunities from data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across levels
  • Experience in all stages of credit strategy, scorecard and model development
