Overview

In this Deskside Engineer role, you will deliver frontline IT support to Arm’s users across multiple offices and time zones. You’ll ensure a strong end-user experience on Linux, Windows, Mac, and mobile devices, handling on-site and quick-response support beyond the service desk. You’ll work with a global IT team to support approximately 10,000 users and uphold high SLA/KPI standards. The role offers a hands-on, user-centric environment with impactful exposure to end-user computing and collaboration tools at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive and reactive IT support across key geographies
  • Represent IT as the human face of technology to office users
  • Collaborate in a global team delivering end-user IT services across Arm offices
  • Support 10,000 users on Linux, Windows, Mac, and mobile devices
  • Own the end-to-end on-site technology support wherever used
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Mac, and Windows in an enterprise setting
  • Experience supporting Office 365 across multiple operating systems
  • Ability to meet tight SLAs and KPIs while preserving user experience
  • Strong rapport-building skills with users
  • Ability to support a range of hardware and AV setups
  • Rapport with users
