Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure AWS cloud solutions across industries, translating business needs into technical architecture. You will guide project teams, partner with clients and AWS, and help shape Deloitte’s cloud capabilities. The role combines strategic advisory with hands-on architecture work to drive data-driven transformation. You’ll mentor colleagues and stay ahead of AWS trends to keep Deloitte at the forefront of cloud innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural design and implementation of AWS cloud solutions.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical designs aligned with client objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversee delivery of AWS engagements from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with clients, Deloitte teams, and AWS for integrated solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships as a trusted AWS strategy advisor.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Deloitte's AWS capabilities and IP.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers to foster technical excellence.
  • Stay updated on AWS developments and industry trends.
Key requirements
  • Extensive cloud architecture experience with AWS focus.
  • Track record delivering large-scale AWS projects across domains (data analytics, modernization, security).
  • Experience in technical pre-sales, bid docs, RFIs/RFPs, or presentations.
  • Ability to articulate AWS solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and deliver across cloud strategy, migration, modernisation, and platform engineering.
  • Knowledge of AWS service assessment, fit-for-purpose evaluation, and architecture choices.
  • Ability to identify practical AI/generative AI opportunities using AWS.
